“Florals, for spring. Groundbreaking.” It’s an infamous line thrown out by the fictional Runway editor Miranda Priestley in The Devil Wears Prada. But as singer Rita Ora has showed today, wearing a dazzling many-petaled print as the temperature warms up can still make for a surprisingly mood-boosting look.

Today, Ora was spotted on the streets of New York City sporting a committed, head-to-toe take on floral dressing. The beaded turtleneck and contrasting wide-leg trousers were from Escada’s recent Fall 2019 collection. The British singer styled it all with cool round purple sunglasses—which also had a subtle floral motif on them, making the case for maximalism—with silver platform sandals to help give her sweeping pants a much-needed lift.

So, the next time you're considering flower-powered prints, why not just go crazy and throw them on all over—it’s the perfect mic-drop moment.
